Historical Data for Investment Accounts
For investment accounts, you will start receiving data from the point of account connection, and we will continue to collect data over time to provide performance data. At this time, we are not able to backfill historical investment data.
Investment Account updates
For most investment accounts, we receive an update from each institution with your account balance and holdings once a day. This happens the morning after the market closes. This means we receive updates once a day from Tuesday through Saturday. Note that any bank holidays will cause a delay in data refreshes.
In order to improve the experience of keeping track of your investments, we've created the option to turn on Live Estimates for your balances. We combine near real-time market data with the once-a-day update we receive from your institutions to show you how your holdings are performing during market hours. See more details here.
Transaction Data for Investment Accounts
Our data aggregators don't currently support surfacing transactions for most accounts that are a blend of brokerage and depository accounts. We're advocating for our data aggregators to find a way to better support these hybrid accounts for users who use the checking portion of these accounts.
In the meantime, we'd recommend creating a manual depository account and manual transactions to track those transactions. As a note, you can exclude that manual depository account from your Net Worth to prevent it from causing Copilot to show false Net Worth calculations.
We are not able to support importing transactions via CSV or XLS at this time.
