Please note: This integration is only available for set-up via the iOS app on phones that are running iOS 17.4 or higher. Accounts will also surface in the Mac app and iPad app after connecting via iOS.

Apple Card

Next steps if you already have a manual Apple Card account in Copilot: Simply update to iOS 17.4 and the newest version of the Copilot mobile app, and then create a new Apple Card connection (without deleting your manual Apple Card). We'll present you with the option to merge your manual and connected Apple Card (not Apple Cash or Savings) in the flow.

Apple Cash

Next steps if you already have a manual Apple Cash account in Copilot: The Apple Cash integration does bring in historic data, so you can simply delete your existing manual Apple Cash card and track it on the newly connected card or mark the manual account as CLOSED (if you would like to keep the historic data on the manual copies of these accounts and track on the connected accounts going forward.)

If you see duplicate transactions from the overlapping data between your manual and connected Apple Cash accounts, please adjust your Apple Wallet's share settings by heading to your iPhone's Settings > Privacy & Security > Wallet > Copilot > Activity > choose "Starting Today" or "Starting 30 Days Ago."

Savings

Next steps if you already have a manual Savings account in Copilot: The Savings integration does bring in historic data, so you can simply delete your existing manual Savings account and track on the new connected card or mark the manual account as CLOSED (if you would like to keep the historic data on the manual copies of these accounts, and track on the connected accounts going forward.)

If you see duplicate transactions from the overlapping data between your manual and connected Savings accounts, please adjust your Apple Wallet's share settings by heading to your iPhone's Settings > Privacy & Security > Wallet > Copilot > Activity > choose "Starting Today" or "Starting 30 Days Ago."

Frequently Asked Questions

Why am I unable to connect my Apple Card, Apple Cash, or Savings account in Copilot?

There are some expected reasons why you may run into an issue connecting these accounts in Copilot.

  • Are you attempting to connect on the macOS app? This integration is only available for set-up via your iPhone. Please attempt to connect Apple Card, Apple Cash, and Savings via the iOS app.

  • Are you attempting to connect on an iPad? At the moment there's a known bug preventing successful Apple connections on iPad. Please attempt to connect Apple Card, Apple Cash, and Savings via the iOS app.

  • Are you the primary account holder? Currently, only the primary account holder can connect their Apple Card, Apple Cash, and Savings accounts in Copilot.

Why is my Apple Card balance incorrect?

Apple is currently sharing the "total balance" for Apple Cards. This field excludes pending transactions and includes any yet-to-be-paid monthly installments. Apple currently only shares this value to reflect the total debt obligation that appears on the customer’s statement and credit report.

If you don't have any pending transactions or monthly installment payments but you still see an incorrect Apple Card balance, please reach out to us via the in-app chat. It's helpful if you include a screenshot of your Apple Card balance in Copilot, along with a screenshot of the account's correct balance from your Apple Wallet. As always, please redact personal identifiable information and full account numbers in screenshots you send us.

Why am I not receiving Apple Card, Apple Cash, or Savings transaction updates?

This integration works by Copilot importing data directly from your Apple Wallet into the iOS app. Because of this, you'll need the Copilot app to be open on your phone in order to receive transaction updates in the macOS and iPadOS apps.

Why are my Apple Savings transactions showing generic names?

Apple is not currently sharing Savings account transaction name information. This means that all Savings transactions will have one of the following names: Savings Interest Earned, Apple Card Daily Cash, Savings Deposit, Savings Withdrawal, or Savings.

As a workaround, you can manually edit the name of Apple Savings transactions by tapping the transaction > tapping the current name > Edit > Save.
