In this article, we review the end of the Mint import process, and how to delete all Mint imports if you'd like to re-import data at a later time.

Merging Transactions

Oftentimes, there will be an overlap between the transaction data being imported with Mint and the historic transaction data we receive when you connect your accounts on Copilot.

Because of this, you'll need to choose if you want to prioritize seeing the imported Mint transactions or the transaction data in your account since starting with Copilot:

Always Keep Mint: Based on your decision, if there's an overlap between Mint transactions and Copilot transactions, we'll prioritize your Mint transactions and remove duplicate transactions we've received from your connected bank accounts.

Replace with Copilot: Based on your decision, if there's an overlap between Mint transactions and Copilot transactions, we'll prioritize your Copilot transactions and remove duplicate transactions from Mint.

After selecting an option and confirming by tapping Complete Import, the Mint Import process is complete.

If you complete all the steps to import the data and you notice that when you’re inside the app you’re missing some historical data, try clearing the app’s cache through the Settings menu. After clearing the cache, give the app a few minutes to reload all of your data, then re-review.

Deleting Mint Imports

Please note: The choices made in this import can’t be edited after completing the process, but you can delete all Mint imports via the Settings menu if you would like to re-import the data and make different mapping or merging choices in the process.
