If your bank accounts haven't updated within the past two days, please do not delete the connection. This will permanently remove your accounts' historic data. Instead, we have a few recommendations for improving connection performance.
Troubleshooting
Update Your Software
As a first step, please make sure the Copilot app and your device are running on the latest OS.
Clear Your Cache
If an account's balance is up to date but you're missing recent transactions, we'd recommend clearing your cache. Head to Copilot Settings > Advanced > Clear the local cache. You can learn more about when clearing Copilot's cache is most helpful here.
Refresh the App
You can force refresh your transaction data at any time. In the iOS app, pull down from the top of any screen. In the macOS and iPad app, click the arrow icon on the top left.
Re-verifying Your Bank Credentials
When Prompted
For security reasons, your bank may ask you to re-verify your login credentials. This step allows your bank to share account information with Copilot. When a bank connection needs re-verification, you'll see a notification badge by the account. Please re-verify in order to start receiving account updates.
On the iOS app, tap the account > Reverify connection.
On the macOS app, tap the account > tap "Reverify" in the top right corner.
When Not Prompted
We also recommend attempting to re-verify your credentials if the previous troubleshooting steps haven't worked.
On the iOS app, tap the account > tap the three corners on the top right > Reverify credentials.
On the macOS and iPad apps, tap the account > tap the three corners on the top right > Account management > Reverify credentials.
It you're unable to re-verify, or if re-verifying doesn't update your account, please reach out to us!
