We connect most institutions via Plaid, but we also use Finicity, MX and Akoya for some institutions that are not available with Plaid. They build integrations with the financial institutions to connect and import your account data. We also have direct integrations with Apple, Capital One, Public and Coinbase.
Is my data secure?
We take privacy and security very seriously, so we only work with companies that we trust. By using our data providers to link your bank accounts, we never see or store your login credentials. We encrypt all data at rest and in transit, and we use Google Cloud for our backend and data transmission.
I'm having an issue with my connection.
Although not ideal, data providers and financial institutions can experience downtime or persistent issues. If you are not receiving updates or can't connect please reach out and we can help troubleshoot. We do not recommend deleting and attempting to reconnect. If you delete an account in Copilot, then we delete all associated account data, including balance history. We do not maintain data for user-deleted accounts.
