Copilot Money offers flexibility in how you categorize transactions and set up your budget. While Copilot isn't built specifically as a zero-based budgeting tool, here are our suggestions for maintaining this kind of budget in the Categories tab:
1) Set your total monthly budget to equal your total monthly income.
2) If you have any money left in your budget at the end of the month, move that amount of funds to a Savings and/or Investment account.
3) Make sure the outgoing Internal Transfer transaction(s) are marked as Regular, and categorize them as "Savings" or "Investments." Now you can see how every income dollar is accounted for in your budget.
