Information on connecting with our direct Capital One integration

In Copilot, Capital One accounts are connected directly via an OAuth integration. As a result, the behavior for these accounts are slightly different than accounts connected through our data aggregators.

Blank Screen

A few users have encountered a blank screen when connecting to Capital One if they have a content blocker set up for Safari. If you are experiencing this issue please disable your content/ad blocker. You can re-enable the content/ad blocker after linking your account.

Adding New Account

To add a new account to an existing connect you will need to reverify your connection to Capital One. You can reverify your connection and add permission for the new account(s) to be surfaced in Copilot by tapping on your Capital One account, tapping on the menu button in the top right corner of the account view, and tapping ‘Reverify credentials.’

Please make sure to leave the boxes checked for all accounts already linked in Copilot so that we continue to receive updates for those accounts.

Pending Transactions

At this time we only receive transaction data once it has posted to your account, not pending transaction data. We have requested Capital One provide pending transaction data, but we cannot provide an ETA at this time.

Transaction History

At this time Capital One only provides us with three months of transaction data when you connect. We have requested Capital One provide more transaction history, but we cannot provide an ETA at this time.

Missing Credit Limit

At this time, Capital One does not provide us with the credit limit to your accounts. To set the credit limit for your Capital One card, tap on your Capital One account, tap on where it says Limit, and enter the credit limit for this card.

If your credit limit for this account ever changes in the future, you can follow these steps again to enter your updated credit limit.
