Information about Copilot settings

Copilot's Settings section allows you to customize your experience to your liking.


Demo mode

  • Enter demo mode - This allows you to enter Copilot's demo mode. This is useful if you want to show Copilot to someone but don't want to share your personal financial data.

Features

  • Budgeting - The Budgeting toggle allows you to enable or disable budgeting in Copilot.

  • Tags - Tapping on the Tags section in Settings allows you to edit existing tags as well as create new ones if needed.

Connections

  • Manage your connections - This section allows you to manage your connections within Copilot. For more information on this section, click here.

Appearance

  • App sections - This setting allows you to re-arrange the order of Copilot's tabs.

  • Dark mode - This allows you to toggle Dark Mode on and off. Or, you can have Copilot switch to dark mode automatically based on your iPhone's setting.

  • App icon (iOS and iPadOS) - You can update the App icons to other designs.

Copilot Labs

Amazon

  • On - This indicates that your Amazon account is currently connected. Tapping on this will show you the latest order from your Amazon account and historic orders we have received so far.

  • Off - This indicates that your Amazon account is not currently connected. Tapping on this will allow you to connect your Amazon account. You can use our Amazon Integration article to learn more

Venmo

  • On - This indicates that your Venmo account is connected via our email forwarding integration. Tapping on this will show you the Venmo account details.

  • Off - This indicates that your Venmo account is not connected via our email forwarding integration. Tapping on this will prompt you to connect your Venmo account via our email forwarding integration. You can use our Venmo Integration FAQ article to learn more

Notifications

  • Bank Fee Alert - A notification for when we receive a transaction that is categorized as a bank fee

  • Big Expense Alert - A notification for any regular transaction over $500 that is not associated with a Recurring

  • Budgets updates - A notification for when you go over budget in a Category

  • Credit Utilization alert - A notification for when a credit card's utilization goes over 30%, 60%, or 90%.

  • Income update - A notification for when you receive an income transactions that is $10 or greater

  • Low balance alert - A notification for when a Checking or Savings account balance goes below $100

  • Recurring paid alert - A notification when one of your Recurrings is paid

  • Spending update - A notification sent every Monday telling you how much you spent last week compared to two weeks ago.

  • Uncategorized transfer alert - A notification when there's a transaction that's categorized as Other, but Plaid categorize it as a transfer transaction.

  • Venmo transaction alert - A notification for when new Venmo transaction is detected

Rollovers

  • Rollover enabled - This toggle allows you to enable or disable Rollover​

  • First month with a Rollover - This allows you to choose when you would like to start rollover. For example, if you choose to start rollover on July 2025, any over or under budget amount from June 2025 will be rollover into the future months. You can use our Budget Rollovers article to learn more.​

  • Disabled categories - Rollovers are enabled for all categories automatically when its toggled on. You can use this to disable any categories that you don't want rollovers to impact.

Account

  • Email - The email address associated with your Copilot account

  • Reset your password (if applicable) - If you use Sign in with Apple, you'll have to option to create or reset your password assocaited with your Copilot account.

  • Require Face ID - This allows you to enable or disable Face ID when accessing your Copilot account on your device.

  • Restart the onboarding - This allows you to go through the onboarding steps again, but it will not scan for duplicate transactions or detects new reucrrings again.

  • Export your transactions - This allows you to export all of your transaction data in Copilot. You can use the Export Your Transaction Data article to learn more.

  • Log out of Copilot - This allows you to log out of your Copilot account on your devices.

  • Delete your Copilot account - This allows you delete your Copilot account and all the data associated with your Copilot account. This cannot be undone. If you have any questions, please reach out to our support team via in-app chat before taking this action.

Subscription

  • Subscription status - If you're subscribed, it will show that "You're currently subscribed". If you're not currently subscribed but already paid for a subscription, it will show the date that your current subscription will end.

  • Subscribe again - If you do not currently have a subscription, you will see this option to subscribe again.

  • Subscription renewal - If you currently have a subscription, it will show you the renewal date of your next subscription.

  • Restore subscription - This allows you to restore a paid subscription to a Copilot account.

Manage your subscription

  • If your subscription is managed via the App Store, this will allow you to update your subscription plan between annual or monthly, or cancel your subscription.

  • If your subscription is managed via Stripe, this this will allow you to update your subscription plan as well, but also allow you to change the payment method. You will also have the option to cancel your subscription as well.

  • Gift months of services - You can gift months of services to another person by purchasing a gift code from the App Store. This is only available on the Copilot app downloaded from the App Store.

Accessibility

  • Display transactions with + and -. When this is turned on, outgoing transactions will display a negative sign in front of the transactions amount, incoming transactions will display a positive sign.

  • Accessible colors - This feature adjust for color vision deficiencies in addition to your device's color filters. You can use our Display Settings for Vision article to learn more.

About

  • Version - The Copilot version you're currently using.

  • Visit our Help Center - This will direct you to our Help Center articles.

  • Contact Support - This will direct you to message our support team.

  • Share Copilot and get free months - This will give you the option to share your referral link with others.

  • Rate us in the App Store - This will redirect you to the App Store so you can rate and write a review for Copilot.

  • Visit our website - This will redirect you to our website.

  • Terms of service - This will redirect you to the Copilot terms of service website.

  • Privacy policy - This will redirect you to the Copilot privacy policy website.
